Enrique was born in Paraguay and has Slovenian and Italian origins. At the age of eighteen, he travelled to Ecuador where he lives since 1976. Here he studied Architecture and  Communication engaged in the practice of GO, an oriental strategy game, which he often applies when developing audiovisual proposals.



He assisted a Film Script seminar conducted by Ambrosio Fornet (Cuba) and also to Film Production seminars by Camilo Vives (Cuba) and Nicolas Batle (Argentina).



He has been working with black communities in Ecuador for more than twenty years. In 1995 he made the first Afro themed fiction short-film in Ecuador (Betsaida, 28`).

 

In 2007 the development of the feature film “Los Ángeles No Tienen Alas” began in the San Lorenzo community, Province of Esmeraldas, Ecuador. Since 2008 the project has been awarded with development, script and production prices.



Enrique directed the short films “Retorno” and “Latidos del Corazón”, which were carried out with the support of the Coordinating Ministry of San Lorenzo´s Heritage for intercultural creativity and audiovisuals trainings. 



He wrote the script for the documentary project “Ndeyssane” on African heritage in America which is currently underway.
