Camilo was born in Quito, Ecuador on September 7, 1986. He obtained his bachelor degree on Cinema and Video at University of San Francisco, Quito. His thesis, the short film “Guagua de Pan”  was the winner of the First ¨Luz de Cinema” festival y Curitiba, Paraná.

 

Up to this date, he directed the photography of 4 feature films: "El Silencio No Existe", "Quito 2023", "Tan Distintos los Dos" and "Ecuatorian Shetta".

 

Futhermeore, he has 67 audiovisual productions of his authoirship, one feature film and 9 short films "El Chirisiqui" "Popular Quitumbe" "Zapatos Rotos" "El Chiriyacu" "Colada Morada" "El Silencio del Mar" "Génesis" "Guagua de Pan" and "Hojarasca".
